031N Average Retail Poultry, Table Egg, and Red Meat Prices - Criteria - Page 1

Report displays average retail prices by 4 week reporting periods by province for whole birds and poultry cuts, table eggs, and pork cuts for a selected year. The prices are obtained from the value of the product sold divided by the quantity sold during the 4 week period at retail level. These sales don't represent all the sales of a specific product, but only ones collected by our data provider.

In 2020, this data set was revised to adjust to minor enhancements in methodology and a calendar change. Starting with the December 28 2019 to January 25 2020 reporting period, the data aligns with Nielsen Canada's Consumer Information Platform. Duck price data is not available after 2014.
